I took these right before I left for Australia. All those patterns I like to make? Here they are! You can buy them HERE
:) Spoonflower is a great company and the quality is AMAZING. Not only can you buy my prints in whatever yardage you want, you can also choose fabric weight/type. The organic cotton is SO SOFT. Here's some photos of the test swatches I was sent, plus some sketchbook goodies.

Hi!

Hi everyone! I'm back in lovely florida freelancing away.....expect to see some new work (and a new site) soon :) While I was at Carter's I didn't do a whole lot of outside-the-office art, now it's time to get back into the blogging groove. The above are some florals patterns... I LOVE doing them :) Thanks for stopping by and as always, comments and crits are always appreciated!

~~cheers.

Some bits...

Hi everyone!! Everything is going swimmingly up here in Atlanta, I'm definitely enjoying cooler weather (its going to be in the 60's in the mornings next week :) !!

Thought I'd share some stuff...
We had a bake sale at work to benefit Light the Night I opted to make some yummy banana chocolate chip muffins!! Course I had to package them in a cute little way...

Also, my sister wanted a drawing of our dogs done, in her words, "that style thing you do on the computer"
so here it be, at Carter's everything is wearing a sweater/hat or scarf... so I guess it rubbed off.... animals just look cuter all dressed up :P

This didn't take long, maybe 30 minutes, but it made me really miss my puppies :(

*gasp!

Yay a post.. tho one sans art. Thought I'd let those who still check my blog know where I'm at... Last month I moved to Atlanta to take up an intern position with Carter's... it's been quite the adventure moving for the first time, living in a big city and working for a major company. I'm thoroughly enjoying my time here and hopefully soon I'll have some new art or crafty type things to share.

Thanks for stopping by!

book re-do!

These 3 images were really quick and fun to do! Our assignment was to re-do a 2 page spread and and spot illustration for an existing book. I chose an alphabet book so I could draw some Carter's-esque type cuteness!! The ladybug and Koi is the 2 pg spread, but I chose to upload them separately, since that's how they will appear in my portfolio. These were so much fun!

hallmarky

What a week!! Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights we had the Hallmark workshop and wow was is AWESOME! We did so many cool things and learned lots of stuff (and lots of stuff about ourselves)!! The over-arching assignment was we chose some copy and made a card for it. My copy happened to be in the "green" line of cards...plus it's cute. The link heart on the cover is actually a die-cut, and the pink is what's on the inside. Totally exhausting week, but worth it.

Bubbles

Sci-fi/fantasy assignment for Perez....

The Bubble Blowers of Banbury Fields.

These little people use bubbles as transportation. I chose to show the the "blowers"..... those who actually blow the bubbles so people can harness them and move about.

I'm on a bike kick, what can I say?

2nd tiny thesis snippet

Even though I finished my drawing for "The Three Little Kittens" earlier this week, I'm just getting around to posting it. Mmm. Teasers. Ha, this is probably my favorite part of the whole piece... :D

more towels :)

Over the weekend more of my beach towels came out! I didn't buy all of them cause, um, I couldn't bring myself to spend 200 dollars on beach towels :P

MORE TOWELS!

Wine labels/Society

I love doing quick little sketchy things, it's such a nice break from working meticulously in AI. These are actually for my wine label assignment for perez, one if for a french rose and the other for a chardonnay. The originals are sans blue sky, I added the sky to make these more into illustrations to submit to Society. Yeehaw!

OOoooOOO

Yay for self portraits!! This one is for Perez's advanced computer illustration class... he said we didn't have to make it look like us, just more represent us...

I finally got to put my chicken in! :D
