Some bits...

Hi everyone!! Everything is going swimmingly up here in Atlanta, I'm definitely enjoying cooler weather (its going to be in the 60's in the mornings next week :) !!

Thought I'd share some stuff...
We had a bake sale at work to benefit Light the Night I opted to make some yummy banana chocolate chip muffins!! Course I had to package them in a cute little way...


Also, my sister wanted a drawing of our dogs done, in her words, "that style thing you do on the computer"
so here it be, at Carter's everything is wearing a sweater/hat or scarf... so I guess it rubbed off.... animals just look cuter all dressed up :P

This didn't take long, maybe 30 minutes, but it made me really miss my puppies :(

Yay a post.. tho one sans art. Thought I'd let those who still check my blog know where I'm at... Last month I moved to Atlanta to take up an intern position with Carter's... it's been quite the adventure moving for the first time, living in a big city and working for a major company. I'm thoroughly enjoying my time here and hopefully soon I'll have some new art or crafty type things to share.

Senior Thesis!

Yay! Here's some pics from my thesis! Soon I will up load large images of the artwork...




I also threw in a grad pic! Some things are in the works as far as a job goes... so we'll see... a second interview and some freelance are on the table!

book re-do!

These 3 images were really quick and fun to do! Our assignment was to re-do a 2 page spread and and spot illustration for an existing book. I chose an alphabet book so I could draw some Carter's-esque type cuteness!! The ladybug and Koi is the 2 pg spread, but I chose to upload them separately, since that's how they will appear in my portfolio. These were so much fun!

What a week!! Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights we had the Hallmark workshop and wow was is AWESOME! We did so many cool things and learned lots of stuff (and lots of stuff about ourselves)!! The over-arching assignment was we chose some copy and made a card for it. My copy happened to be in the "green" line of cards...plus it's cute. The link heart on the cover is actually a die-cut, and the pink is what's on the inside. Totally exhausting week, but worth it.

Bubbles

Sci-fi/fantasy assignment for Perez....

The Bubble Blowers of Banbury Fields.

These little people use bubbles as transportation. I chose to show the the "blowers"..... those who actually blow the bubbles so people can harness them and move about.

I'm on a bike kick, what can I say?
