Smoking Section




Here's the second assignment for Thiel. We had to read a story about this guy trying to quit smoking.

I posted some color studies and the final.

i don't think it's necessary for you to change too much, but perhaps you could make it a bit more edgy, a tad less balanced. like if the texture was a tiny bit more harsh in the sky (might simulate a stormy sky, even lightening?)

of course, your piece doesn't need what she did with it, it just might could use a bit of similar edge.

maybe a larger smoke plume would do it? it's almost there, just a tad bit of tweaking and it'll shine.

oh and thanks for your crit on my sky piece. i cooled down the clouds in shadow a bit, and it's not so warm overall.
